Can You Help Us by Attending the Roads for All Forum?

National Highways is holding a forum focused around breakdown and recovery on the SRN and they are looking for disabled motorists with experience of using the nation’s major roads to join the discussion. The forum is going to be held on 6th March at the National Centre for Accessible Transport in Coventry. The Postcode is CV1 2TT and the event will be held between 10am and 3pm with a free lunch being provided.

I am happy to attend but I am awaiting a date for surgery. If the surgery conflicts. I will have to pull out . I don't want to take a space and have to cancel at the last minute . Our hospital often gives short notice of dates when cancellations appear. So perhaps I should not book a space ?

Not an easy place to get to, in my case a two to three hour journey each way, starting in rush hour and finishing in rush hour, surely if this is to discuss disabled breakdown and recovery this would be better and allow a wider response if this were on line or allow written experiences to be submitted. Even a survey through Disabled Motoring might provide more experiences than asking people to attend in person and expecting the disabled to navigate the motorway system mid week, or is this designed to limit the audience or response.
