Renew your Licence Online With a Driver and Vehicles Account

Motorists are now able to complete the 10-year renewal of their driving licence and apply for their first provisional licence online through the Driver and vehicles account. 
 

Along with the current features, such as opting to receive vehicle tax reminders by text or email, account holders will now be able to renew their photocard driving licence, track their application and see details of their new driving licence once it has been issued. 
First provisional drivers with an account will also be able to view their provisional driving licence and add a vehicle registered in their name. You can set up an account by visiting www.gov.uk/driver-vehicles-account.
