London Parking Penalty Charges Consultation

At the end of July London Councils’ Transport and Environment Committee launched a Parking and traffic enforcement penalty charges consultation. The number of drivers receiving penalty charge notices has increased by 50% over the past 12 years and the committee is concerned that the charges are not severe enough to stop people from parking illegally. In many areas the parking charges have not been updated since 2007. The consultation is open until Monday 23rd October.
