Safer Parking Accessible and Safer Parking Accessible EV aim to become recognised throughout the whole of the UK for accessible and inclusive parking and electric vehicle charging facilities. Safer Parking Accessible will enable everyone, regardless of their accessibility needs, to identify car parks and facilities, such as EV charge points, that they can use with ease.

Who owns Park Access?

Safer Parking Accessible and Safer Parking Accessible EV are jointly owned by Disabled Motoring UK and Police Crime Prevention Initiatives (Police CPI) who will also be administering the scheme.

Pricing (please note these prices are effective 1st October 2023)

To become a member of the Safer Parking Accessible Scheme there is an annual fee of £80 + VAT. 

There is a charge for registering each facility that qualifies for the accreditation. A sliding scale exists that provides a discount relative to the number of facilities you wish to register as follows, this is in line with the fees for the Park Mark Award:

Discounts

Discounts are available for members who hold both Park Mark/Safer Parking awards and Safer Parking Accessible accreditations. The assessments will be undertaken at the same time reducing our administration and operational costs and we can pass these savings onto the award and accreditation holders. 

Safer Parking Scheme Members qualify for a discounted annual Safer Parking Accessible membership fee of £30 + VAT
