Park Access EV

June 2025

As of the end of June there are now three car parks that have achieved the standards for accessible parking and EV charging set out in the criteria for our Park Access EV accreditation and the government’s PAS 1899 guidelines.  

The first car parks to receive the Park Access EV accreditation were - Park Street car park in Cambridge, followed by The Sands car park managed by Durham County council, and last but not least Media City car park in Manchester.  

We are encouraged that these car parks have provided both accessible parking and accessible charging for disabled motorists, but as the switchover to EV draws ever closer, we urge more local authorities and parking providers to follow suit.

During the month of June, another 16 new car parks received our standard Park Access Accreditation.
