I find the lack of drop kerbs a real nuisance at crossings They may be smaller kerbs and fine for a mobility scooter but the bump in a wheelchair can cause pain. Also there are very narrow pavements inner area and I stay in the road too often to the annoyance of some drivers!!

Plenty drop kerbs but far too many vehicles parked half sometimes fully on pavements. Sometimes half on pavements but also across zig zag markings at road crossing. These comments only cover main road through where I live. never seen anyone from Gateshead council or wardens checking. Parking is just as bad on the housing estates.

The lack of disability parking in city’s. Also the lack of disabled toilets within main shopping areas. There are plenty disabled parking in supermarkets but they are now being used by people who are not disabled. When challenged they just walk away. Even spoke to supermarket staff and they were not very helpful. National highways are very helpful when we broke down in moving the car to a safer place.

There's so many pavements that either have no dropped kerbs at all or maybe a just 1 and I've had no choice but to travel on the road or go the long way around just to get to where I want to go.
