M25 J10 Latest Updates

Planned closures for week commencing Monday 6 January 2025.
Please consider these closures when planning your journey.
National Highways’ overnight closures usually start from 10pm and finish by 5.30am Monday to Thursday, and from 11pm Friday to finish by 6am on Saturday. These times can vary depending on the volume of traffic and when they can close the road safely.
Overnight A3 southbound closures: 6-10 January 2025
For five nights from Monday 6 January to Friday 10 January between 10pm and 5.30am Monday to Thursday and 11pm and 6am Friday, the A3 southbound carriageway will be closed between the M25 Junction 10 and the A247 at Send (red line).
Diversion: Traffic will be diverted via the eastbound M25 to junction 9, then southbound via the A243, to continue onto the A24 to Givons Grove roundabout and join the A246 westbound, then turn northbound on the A247 and re-join the A3 at Send.
Overnight M25 lane closures: 6-10 January 2025
To enable National Highways to carry out CCTV works there will be overnight lane closures on the M25 between 6 and 10 January 2025. You will still be able to use the M25 during this time. The overnight closures will be as follows:
- On Monday 6 and Tuesday 7 January, the westbound (clockwise) M25 carriageway will have the two inside lanes closed overnight between junctions 9 and 10.
- On Wednesday 8 January, the eastbound (anticlockwise) M25 carriageway will have the two inside lanes closed overnight between junctions 11 and 10.
- On Thursday 9 January, the westbound (clockwise) M25 carriageway will have the two inside lanes closed overnight within the junction 10 interchange.
- On Friday 10 January, the eastbound (anticlockwise) M25 carriageway will have the two inside lanes closed between junctions 11 and 12.
M25 extended hours overnight closure: 11 January 2025
The M25 will be closed in both directions between junctions 9 and 10 between 9pm on Saturday 11 January and 5.30am on Sunday 12 January 2025. This is to carry out preparatory works for the new gantry to be installed later in the year, in addition to works on the new and existing gyratory bridges, utility works and technology works. We will also be using this closure to carry out routine maintenance work.
Diversions
Eastbound (anticlockwise) traffic will be diverted off the M25 at junction 10 to the northbound A3, the A245, the A307, the A309, and the A243 to rejoin the M25 at junction 9.
Westbound (clockwise) traffic will be diverted off the M25 at junction 8, to join the A217 to travel via the A240, the A24 and the A240 to Tolworth, where they will then join the southbound A3 to rejoin the M25 at junction 10.
Over height vehicles will be diverted off the M25 at junction 9 to travel north on the A243 to the A3 Hook Junction, to join the A309, then the A307, the A245, then the A245 to the A3 Painshill junction where they will then join the southbound A3 to rejoin the M25 at junction 10.
All of their works coincide with other ongoing improvements on our network including the installation of additional emergency areas on the M25 J23-27, M25 J5-7, M4 J10-12, M3 J2-4a and M20 J3-5. More information about these works can be found here.
