M25 J10 : Upcoming Closures : Week Commencing Monday 5th August

Posted in General News on Friday, August 2nd, 2024

Please consider these closures when planning your journey.

National Highways' overnight closures usually start from 10pm and finish by 5.30am Monday to Thursday and from 11pm Friday to finish by 6am on Saturday. Please note that these can change depending on the volume of traffic and when they can close the road safely.

B2039 Ockham Road North

Our closures on the northbound B2039 Ockham Road North to carry utility works and alterations to the approach to the roundabout remain in place for a further week.

Daytime - until Saturday 3rd August the northbound B2039 Ockham Road North will be closed over about 1.5km on its approach to the Ockham Park roundabout. During the day it will be possible to leave Ockham Park roundabout heading south towards Ockham and Horsley but not to travel in the opposite direction.

The diversion for this is via Ockham Road North to Forest Road and then left onto Old Lane, left onto the southbound A3 and leaving the A3 at the B2215 Ripley slip road to reach the Ockham Park roundabout.

Nighttime - From Monday 5 August to Friday 9 August Between 9pm and 5.30 am the A245 east bond between Seven Hills Road and the Painshill roundabout will be closed.

The diversion is via the B365 Seven Hills Road and then right to Queens Road continuing onto the A245 to Esher and then right onto the A307 towards Cobham where the diversion will end at the Junction with the A245 Between Streets.

There will also be a full closure of the A3 south between the exit slip road for J10 and the entry slip from J10 to the A3 South Bound from 10pm to 5.30am.

The diversion will be via the exit slip road to J10, the J10n roundabout and the Entry slip from J10 to the A3 south.

M25 Junction 10 Westbound Carriageway Closure

From 9pm Saturday 3 August to 8am Sunday 4 August we will be closing the M25 westbound carriageway at J10 between the exit slip road and the entry slip to enable the team to carry out a concrete pour to the new bridge we installed three weeks ago.

The diversion for this closure will involve traffic temporarily leaving the M25 at the J10 exit slip travelling around the gyratory before immediately rejoining the M25 via the J10 entry slip.

Roadworks on the A245 Continue

To ease the congestion around our works on the A245, the A3 northbound off slip at Painshill has been closed. This closure will remain in place until the end of November 2024 whilst we continue with our works in this area.

The closure of the A3 northbound off slip at Painshill helps to improve the eastbound traffic flow along the A245. To also ease the traffic flow in the area changes have been made to the sequencing of the traffic signals on all sides of the Painshill roundabout to favour the flow eastbound on the A245. National Highways apologise for the inconvenience this is causing. Further information on this including answers to your questions can be found here.

All their closures coincide with other ongoing improvements on the network including the installation of additional emergency areas on the M25 J23-27, M25 J5-7, M4 J10-12, M3 J2-4a and M20 J3-5. More information about these works can be found here.

National Highways will do all we can to keep disruption to a minimum, but there may be delays at peak times, so we encourage you to plan your journey.
