Team BRIT Make History

Posted in General News on Friday, April 29th, 2022

As part of Team BRIT, racing drivers Aaron Morgan and Bobby Trundley made history in April by making Team BRIT the first all-disabled racing team to compete in the British GT Championship. After successfully qualifying the duo took part in two one hour races competing against highly experienced teams, many of which had professional drivers. It was an extremely tough battle and the pair finished 8th overall in the GT4 class. The were also in the Pro-Am category and took home P2 trophies in this section which will be treasured by the team. Aaron Morgan commented: “What an amazing weekend, with lots of lessons learned – including all about GT3 traffic management! I was really happy with my performance, getting faster and faster as the weekend went on with my best single lap being in qualifying. We finished 7th out of all the GT4 cars in race 2 which was a great achievement. Everyone in the team learned so much about the championship which we’re ready to take into round 2.”
