Naidex 2021 Event Update

Posted in General News on Wednesday, August 18th, 2021

With the Coronavirus restrictions easing everyone will be keen to get back to face-to-face events and this year’s Naidex, held on 15th and 16th September will be one of the first events from the independent mobility sector to be held in the way once again. Naidex will bring together the independent living community and everything it has to offer. This year’s event will feature a host of engaging keynote speakers, live product demonstrations and much more. DMUK will be on hand along with other experts from the independent mobility sector to provide advice and guidance.

The past 18 months has been a challenging time for everybody especially disabled people and Naidex is going to be the first face-to-face independent living event of this scale to take place since the pandemic. Therefore, the organisers appreciate that safety will be a primary concern for all those who attend, and they are pleased to announce that safety regulations will be in place. The Seminars will have added capacity, the networking schemes will be expanded to allow greater room to distance and high-volume touchpoints and interactive show features will be subject to enhanced sanitizing and cleaning regimes. NEC staff will be conducting COVID 19 status checks visitors are strongly advised to wear a face covering unless they are exempt and you must not attend the show if you are displaying symptoms of coronavirus or you have been told to self-isolate. If you would like to find out more information about staying safe at this year’s Naidex visit The Naidex event safety page. If you have any questions about the event or the safety measures that are in place you can contact eventsafety@naidex.co.uk.
