Team BRIT Offers its Hand Control Technology to E-racers

Posted in General News on Friday, May 29th, 2020

Team BRIT, the racing team consisting entirely of disabled drivers, is now giving disabled e-racers the chance to purchase and use bespoke hand control systems at home to enhance their ability to compete with videogame racers around the world. Having launched an e-racing competition in April to help racing drivers practice their skills during the COVID-19 pandemic, the team is now offering its specialist hand control technology to disabled  e-racers around the country. Team BRIT can create bespoke setups depending on the individual’s disability and the gaming technology that they are using. Team BRIT Race Engineer, Al Locke commented: “Disabled eRacers can be restricted in how competitive they can become by the technology they’re using, so we’re taking the concepts behind the innovations we’ve created for our cars and applied this to sim technology to level the playing field. No matter what brand of wheel, base or rig you’re using, we can engineer a solution. Either using components from mainstream sim manufacturers, or creating a completely custom build, we can make racing easier with hand controls.  We’re also working on new solutions for people with poor hand function.” If you would like more information about Team BRIT’s hand control setups, which start at £550, please email
