Coronavirus Update from DMUK

Posted in General News on Friday, May 15th, 2020

DMUK is continuing to monitor the changing situation regarding Coronavirus and following government advice closely. Our top priority is to protect the wellbeing of the DMUK community including members, staff, trustees and their families.

Following the announcement on Sunday 10th May nothing will change for DMUK operationally for the forseeeable future. The office remains closed and staff are working remotely from home  Currently we are trying to deliver all services and will continue to do so should conditions permit. If you need to contact us please email  The phone lines are open from 8am -3.45pm Monday to Friday. They have been diverted so that staff can answer them remotely and help you with your enquiry. If you need to call in please bear with us, we will endeavour to answer all incoming phone calls, but you may need to leave a message on our answer phone service and a member of staff will call you back at the earliest opportunity.

Thank you for your ongoing support during this difficult time. DMUK relies solely on membership subscriptions and donations to continue doing it’s vital work. We are now the only charity in the sector which supports disabled motorists. We hope that during this time you will be able to continue to support the charity.

These are exceptional circumstances and we will, of course, keep you informed of any impact on the services we provide. We apologise for any inconvenience caused during this time. We will continue to update this page and social media should there be any changes to the situation or new government advice.
