Parking (Code of Practice) Bill Update

Posted in General News on Monday, January 21st, 2019

The Parking (Code of Practice) Bill received its second reading in the House of Lords on 18th January 2019. The House of Lords gave a very positive reaction to the Bill and it will now be moved on to the Committee Stage which is expected to take place in February. It has been proposed that no amendments should be tabled which will help to ensure its smooth progress. There has also been a great deal of support given to the idea of creating a single, independent parking appeals service. Visit the UK parliament website to find out more information about the Bill and its progress so far. We will keep you updated on the Bill as it continues to progress through parliament.
