Team BRIT's Race Spec Hand-Control System

Posted in General News on Tuesday, September 26th, 2017

Team BRIT, the motor racing team made up of disabled combat veterans, has finished developing its specialised racing hand-control system and they are proud to recommend it to other disabled drivers. Team BRIT developed the system in conjunction with the motorsport technicians at MME Motorsport. This hand control system is designed in such a way that the driver can operate the braking, throttle, clutch and gear shift all from the steering wheel. This makes racing more accessible for hand-control users and enables them to compete on a level playing field with non-disabled drivers.

The system is fully adjustable which means it can be set up to meet the needs of many different drivers, users are also able to apply every element of this system simultaneously meaning that they can use the brakes throttle and gear shift all at the same time if they need to.  For more information on this system, including pricing, please visit MME’s website.
