M25 J10 : Upcoming Closures : Week Commencing Monday 27 April
Posted in News on Thursday, April 23rd, 2026
If you’re travelling around the M25 Junction 10 and A3 Wisley area next week, it’s worth planning ahead.
As part of the ongoing improvement works at this busy interchange there will be a series of overnight closures in place.
Below is everything you need to know before you set off.
Are These Closures Happening?
The works form part of a major upgrade to the M25 Junction 10/A3 interchange, one of the UK’s busiest and historically most congested junctions. These improvements are aimed at making journeys smoother and safer for the thousands of drivers who use this route every day.
Key Dates and What to Expect:
Overnight Closures
Monday 27 April to Friday 1 May 2026
Closure times typically run:
Monday to Thursday: 10:00pm – 5:30am
Friday: 11:00pm – 6:00am
Please note: timings may vary depending on traffic levels and when it is safe to close the road.
A3 Southbound Closures (Monday–Wednesday)
For three nights, one lane of the southbound A3 between the M25 Junction 10 (Wisley) and Old Lane will be closed.
What’s affected:
Entry slip from M25 Junction 10 onto the A3 southbound
Access to and from Old Lane
Diversions:
From Junction 10 roundabout: Drivers will be diverted via the A3 northbound to Painshill, then back onto the A3 southbound.
From Old Lane: Traffic will be redirected via Ockham Lane and Ockham Road North (B2039), rejoining the A3 at Ockham Roundabout.
M25 Anticlockwise Lane Closures (Thursday–Friday)
For two nights, the outside lane of the M25 anticlockwise between Junctions 11 and 10 will be closed.
Thursday: 10:00pm – 5:30am
Friday: 11:00pm – 6:00am
The motorway will remain open, so no diversion is required.
Full A3 Southbound Closure Over Junction 10 (Thursday–Friday)
For two nights, both southbound lanes of the A3 over Junction 10 will be closed.
Closure times:
Thursday: 10:00pm – 5:30am
Friday: 11:00pm – 6:00am
Diversion:
Traffic will be diverted off at Junction 10 roundabout and guided back onto the A3 southbound.
Plan Ahead to Avoid Delays
Even though these closures take place overnight, they can still impact journey times—especially for freight, airport travel, or early morning commuters.
