M25 J10 : Upcoming Closures

Over the coming days, a series of overnight lane and carriageway closures will be taking place around the A3, Painshill Roundabout, and Ockham Roundabout. These works are scheduled overnight to minimise disruption, but drivers are advised to plan ahead and allow extra time for journeys. Here’s a breakdown of what’s happening and when;
 
Painshill Roundabout: Overnight Lane Closures 

For five consecutive nights, one lane will be closed at Painshill Roundabout. 
Time: 9pm to 6am each night 
Impact: The roundabout will remain fully open, but traffic may be slower due to reduced lane capacity. 
 
Ockham Roundabout: Overnight Lane Closures 

Similarly, Ockham Roundabout will experience overnight lane closures for five nights. 
Time: 9pm to 6am each night 
Impact: The roundabout will remain open to traffic throughout the works. 
 
Northbound A3: Overnight Carriageway Closures 

For four nights, the northbound A3 will be fully closed between the A247 Send interchange and M25 junction 10. 

Monday, Wednesday & Thursday: 10pm to 5.30am 
Friday: 11pm to 6am 

Diversions for Northbound A3 Traffic 

During the closure, drivers should follow the signed diversion routes: 
Main diversion (motorway route): 
Via B2215 → south on A247 → east on A246 → north on A24 → north on A243 → join the clockwise M25 at junction 9 → rejoin the A3 at junction 10. 
Non-motorway diversion: 
Via B2215 → south on A247 → east on A246 → north on A24 → north on A243 → west on A309 → south on A307 → west on A245 → rejoin the A3 at the Painshill junction. 
 
Northbound A3: Lane Closures Between J10 and Painshill 

In addition to the full closures, the outside lane on the northbound A3 will be closed for four nights between M25 junction 10 and Painshill Roundabout. 

Monday, Wednesday & Thursday: 10pm to 5.30am 
Friday: 11pm to 6am 

Impact: The northbound A3 will remain open with reduced lanes. 
 
One-Night Northbound Lane Closure Near Ockham 

For one night only, the inside lane on the northbound A3 between Ockham and M25 junction 10 will be closed. 

When: Tuesday night 
Time: 10pm to 5.30am 
Impact: The A3 will remain open to traffic. 
 
Southbound A3: Overnight Lane Closures 

Finally, the inside lane on the southbound A3 between Painshill Roundabout and M25 junction 10 will be closed for five nights. 
Monday to Thursday: 10pm to 5.30am 
Friday: 11pm to 6am 
Impact: The southbound A3 will remain open, but drivers should expect delays. 
 
Plan Ahead
