Invitation to Join our Webinar: M6 Weekend Closures for Clifton Railway Bridge Replacement

National Highways and Network Rail are working together to minimise disruption during the essential replacement of the Clifton Railway Bridge, which carries the West Coast Mainline over the M6 between Junctions 39 and 40.
To complete the demolition and replacement safely, two full weekend closures of the M6 will be required:
Friday 2 – Monday 5 January 2026
Friday 9 – Monday 12 January 2026
These dates have been chosen when traffic volumes are at their lowest.
They are hosting webinars to provide full details on the closures, diversion routes, and how they're supporting the community. It is an opportuniuty for you to stay informed and ask questions.
