From 28th March 2019 the DVLA will be making it mandatory for all trailers to be registered with the agency before they are used abroad. This applies to commercial trailers weighing over 750kg and non-commercial trailers that way more than 3,500kg.

Many disabled pensioners will no longer have to go through unnecessary reassessments for Personal Independence Payment (PIP). Instead of continuing to receive regular reviews of their benefit amount, when they reach State Pension age they will have what the government is calling a “light touch” review every 10 years.

Kidz to Adultz Middle 2019

DMUK is proud to be travelling to the Ricoh Arena in Coventry on 21st March to exhibit at this year’s Kidz to Adultz Middle event, organised by Disabled Living. This year the event will be held between 9:30am and 4:30pm, and it is open to young disabled people up to the age of 25 and their parents and carers. The purpose of this event is to give disabled people access to up-to-date information and advice on the equipment, products and services that are available to support them with their mobility needs, particularly as they make the transition to adulthood.
