DMUK Registers with AmazonSmile

DMUK has recently registered with Amazon’s charitable donation service, AmazonSmile. This means that when you sign into your amazon account via smile.amazon.co.uk/ and select Disabled Motoring UK as your chosen charity, Amazon will donate a percentage of the net value of your order to the charity.

Using the European Toilet Key

Members of Disabled Motoring UK have the opportunity to borrow a European Toilet Key from the office for the duration of their time abroad. If you wish to borrow this key we ask for a £5.00 donation to cover the cost of hire along with a deposit of £25.00, which will be processed if the key is not returned to the office by the prearranged date. The Euro Key scheme is mainly used in Germany and Austria, so if you are travelling to either of those countries and would like to borrow the key please call the office on 01508 489 449 to discuss the terms with a member of staff.

EV Charging Infrastructure Plans Progress

The National Grid has recently enlisted the help of energy provider, Pivot Power to make its plans for a greatly improved electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure a reality. The National Grid’s £1.6 million project to improve Britain’s EV charging infrastructure will see the installation of enough charging points to provide power to 100 EVs at 45 new sites across the country.
