Driving Mobility, supported by The Department for Transport
Driving Mobility co-ordinate a network of over 20 driving and mobility assessment centres, many with outreach facilties, who ensure people with restricted mobility can gain or maintain independence.
These centres consist of charities and NHS departments that provide clinically led ‘fitness to drive’ assessments and mobility equipment guidance from Occupational Therapists and Approved Driving Instructors. Service user can self-refer or are signposted from the DVLA, NHS, Motability, Police and healthcare professionals.
